1. Why should we care about regulations like this one concerning bacon dogs? Well, people talk about how unhealthy it is, but I think a lot of stuff is really unhealthy. Though they probably just care about obesity rates in America and the sake of the person consuming the Bacon Dog.
2. What other foods are “potentially hazardous”? Should all foods that are “potentially
hazardous” be regulated? I would probably say so. I think it would save many people a lot of hardship.
3. Are vendors like Elizabeth Palacios criminals? I din't think so at all! She is trying to make a living to support her daughter and house and selling bacon dogs is the only way she can! She isn't intentionally hurting anyone.
4. Are consumers being protected by the Health Department regulations? No. They aren't directly consulting with the consumers.
5. How do regulations like this contribute to the formation of a black (or unlicensed)
market? He makes them harder to open and be successful in their business, but they have to understand that they care about the health of the people at the same time.
Kidneys For Sale:
1. What are the problems with the current organ donation system in America? Not enough people are donating.
2. What are some potential problems with paying for organs?
3. Does making something illegal (selling body parts) make that activity stop? How does
being illegal affect the safety of the activity? If it was illegal, people that need the operations might try to do it theirselves and it would be unsafe. It would also affect the person needing the donation because they wouldn't get it.
4. If people are paid for their kidneys, does it matter what they do with that money? I don't think so, no.
5. Why might paying for kidneys affect the poor differently than the wealthy? Because if there was a poor person who needed a donation, they couldn't afford to pay anyone and that could kill them! A wealthy person would be just fine,
6. How can waiting lists be shortened? They coould be shortend if more people donated. They could more strongly try to promote the need of organ donations.

The Drew Carey Project
For Thursday:
Traffic Gridlock:
1. What are the advantages of toll roads? What are the disadvantages?
Advantage: It gets you to where you need to go, faster. Disadvantage: You have to pay money to use it.
2. Who pays the cost of toll roads? Who pays the cost of most roads? Toll Roads: The people who use them. Most roads: tax payers.
3. How are tolls/user fees different from taxes? You have to pay taxes. You only have to pay for tolls if you actually use that service.
4. Why are private companies willing to take on the risk of developing toll roads?
5. What does the fact that 40,000 cars use the 91 Toll Express Lanes in Orange County, CA every day
demonstrate about the value the drivers place on their time? That's it worth worth paying the money to save some time.

3. Do you think Pinal County’s anti-dancing ordinance is constitutional? I don't. I think dancing is a way to express yourself and if they are banning dancing, they are taking away a little piece of freedom. Which is unconstitutional.
4. The anti-dancing ordinance has been on the books for sixty years. Is the age of the ordinance
relevant? I don't believe so.
5. The neighbor in the video who originally opposed San Tan Flat suggested that someone might be
trying to use county regulations to bankrupt the restaurant. Why would anyone want to do that? Probably because they support dancing.

Persuasive Essay
Today I will be comparing McDonalds and Wendy's to give reasons as to why Wendy's is better. Not only does it taste better, but it has better quality and is healthier for you.
McDonalds is known for not being healthy for people. Granted, not everything is healthy for you at Wendy's, but as a majority, Wendy's has healthier options. A lot of things, for example too much Sodium in McDonalds can lead to heart attacks from too much intake. Also, the "healthy" yogurt parfaits are the same as eating a sundae! People are always trying to sue McDonald's and they have their reasons. Wouldn't you like to have healthier food that tastes better as well?
Wendy's food is better with everything! They have better burgers, fries, milkshakes(Frosty's), salads, chicken, etc. Their chicken is from the actual meat of the chicken while McDonald's nuggets are from other parts of the chicken they are ground up and fried. It's not even real meat! And that can't be good for you. Wendy's has better quality and always leave your taste buds and your stomach satisfied.
If you wantthe best for you and your family, always choose Wendy's over McDonalds. Just because they don't have a playground to attract your children, doesn't mean their yummy treats won't! There is no contest, Wendy's is better all around! You should definitely stick with Wendy's.

CNN Student News 9/9/11
Issue: They are discussing the attack of the Twin Towers on 9/11/01. This attack occured because Al Queda took over planes and ran them into the Twin Towers. The Twin Towers were not the only buildings that got attacked, it was also the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania. It was a very tragic event for a America. When the first tower was hit, all of America stopped what they were doing, and watched television and listened to the radio. At first, everyone thought it was a mistake the pilot might have made. But when the second plane hit the other tower, they knew we were being attacked. So many tears were shed on this day. Many Americans feared that more would hit their city! They discussed the events on this day and the reasons American's still reflect on it today.
My Opinion: This was a horrifying event. I think what Al Queda did was evil. They caused so many broken hearts and sad souls for America. They were proud of what they did, and that sickens me. Though I think it is important to remember this day because America did not take a downfall, we came out stronger! We should remember all of the lives that were taken on this day, and the brave souls who tried to save them
How to Help the Issue: We should reflect on the lives that were lost and how brave people were on this day. If you show respect to your flag and your troops, and maybe even sympathy, I think that would be a great way to help and reflect over the events that occured on the day of 9/11.

CNN Studnet News
1) One of the topics that CNN Student News covered is a large fire in Texas.
2) The fire started because of a drought that was going on in Texas. It spreaded very far because of winds coming hin from hurricane Irene. It took down many homes and buildings but some people around that area are trying to be optomistic.
3) To solve this issue, they had to get many firemen to spray a lot of water all over the enormous fire.
